Investigation Log Information

    • Cold Spot- Cabin Room:   10/31/2009 We had an ambient room temperature that was 73 degrees Fahrenheit. A non-contact thermometer read 78 degrees then shot down to 71 degrees Fahrenheit. This is the type of fluctuation that you look for when dealing with temperatures at a paranormal investigation.
    • Electrostatic Charge- Top Floor Landing:  10/31/09 Remote Team Members (RTM) felt static electricity in the air. Their hair and clothes started to stick to them. It was so bad that our K9 Lead Investigator (Kodi) didn't want to walk past that spot of activity.
    • Subjective and Objective Experience- Victorian Gallery: 10/31/09 Acid taste in  RTM's mouth for over 3 minutes. Hits on K2 Meter at the same time, and scent of cigarette smoke in the air. This same activity also occurred and was witnessed by DaShane on the first investigation (1/3/2009).
    • EMF Spike- Post Office:  10/31/09 This was discovered by RTM near the doorway to the kitchen. No appliances within the kitchen registered unusual levels. We traced the EMF level 4.3-6.8 mg. on the floor and thought it might be coming from the basement.  DaShane and Victoria took the RTM down to the basement and discovered that there was no cause for this activity.
    • Olfactory Apparition- School Room: 10/31/09 DaShane and 4 RTMs were walking up the stairs to the hallway of the school room.  Sudden rush of nasty smelling air hit us all in the face. Smell could be compared to that of a very sweaty stale gym locker room. They walked back to the Laundry Room display and it got worse. Then they turned around and went back towards the stairs and the foul smell was replaced with sweet perfume fragrance(?). The foul smell was also noted by Crystal and another team member during the 2/2/09 investigation.
    • Dark Green AEP- Post Office front door entrance:  2/2/09 Anomaly appears in picture taken. You can see it for yourself  if you look to the right of this section. The window pane molding even looks bent as if something was in front of it with a transparent effect. Could not recreate this picture.k Figure, Post Office: 1/3/09 On video evidence review, we caught a shadow person walking behind Crystal (Director, Spiritual H.O.P.E.).
    • Aggressive Contact- Tool Room:  2/2/09  DaShane Watkins felt stabbing pain in the lower back. Felt like a knife was stabbing him. Pain was so intense, DaShane actually dropped down to the floor for a good two to three minutes, as the rest of the team watched in disbelief.
    • Poltergeist Activity-  Tool Room:  2/2/2009 DaShane and another investigator were in the tool room when a tool that was hanging on the wall slid a few inches. Sound was caught on the audio recorder, but the HandyCam was not facing it.
    • Physical Contact- Transportation Room: 1/3/09 Investigator was touched on the elbow while taking EMF readings. We thought maybe the rope was touching him, but the rope line was much too low to the ground to hit his elbow.
    • AEP- School Room:  1/3/2009 Caught an Atmospheric Electrical Phenomenon (AEP) on infrared video. Was not visible at the time, caught during evidence review.

    Investigation Log Information

      • Cold Spots- Parlor Room, Master Bed Room, Children's Room, Library: 10/30/2009 Ambient room air temperature 70 degrees Fahrenheit in Parlor Room.  Drops down to 65.6 degrees then spikes to 92.8 degrees then back down to 65.8 degrees Fahrenheit.  Master Bedroom drops do to 60 degrees from 75 degrees Fahrenheit.  Child's Room 71 degrees to 71 degrees Fahrenheit.  Library couch was reading 84 degrees when the room was at 73 degrees Fahrenheit.
          • K2 Spike- Parlor Room, Children's Room, and Master Bedroom:  10/30/09 K2 spiked in the parlor room up to yellow after asking the spirits questions as a group DRP (Digitally Recorded Phenomena) session. Children's Room got direct hits on the K2 after asking questions.  In the Master Bedroom we got high K2 meter hits after asking yes or no questions.
            • Physical Contact, Library Room: 10/30/2009 A Remote Team Member (RTM) was tugged on the back of his shirt after asking if there was a spirit of a little girl present.
              • Fun House Effect Phenomena- Civil War Exhibit:  10/30/09 2 RTM's were standing in the exhibit room and experienced a swaying effect feeling.  Felt as if the floor was uneven, floor was checked using a level and found that it was not uneven at all.
                  • Shadow Figure- Ladies Parlor and Cellar:  10/30/09 In the Ladies Parlor Room, Spiritual H.O.P.E. Society's Madam Lee saw a shadow on the balcony.  In the cellar, an RTM saw a shadow in the room with us.
                      • Direct Noise Phenomena (DNP)- Ladies Parlor:  10/30/09 While in the Civil War Exhibit, everyone heard a loud noise come from the Ladies Parlor. It was so sudden and loud that the group left the Civil War Exhibit to investigate the Ladies Parlor Room.
                          • Energy Drain- Bed Room off of Ladies Parlor, Cellar:  10/30/09 Our brand new batteries drained all the way down to nothing when investigating these rooms.

                            • DMP- Both Observatories Buildings: 2/21/2009 Digital Music Phenomenon (DMP) John Kachuba, Robert Dennon, and DaShane Watkins experience music being played out in the 2nd building of the Cincinnati Observatory.
                            • K2 Spike- Main Observatory stairway: 2/21/2009 K2 spike up to yellow for John Kachuba, Robert Dennon, and DaShane Watkins on . Intelligent K2 spike yellow to orange in the circle hallway of the Main Building of the Cincinnati Observatory
                            • Physical Contact- Library Room: 2/21/2009 Robert Dennon was looking under the stairway to try to debunk the K2 Spike and all of a sudden he felt something go through his hair. Did not find source of the electrostatic magnetic field that cause the K2 meter to spike.
                            • Direct Noise Phenomena (DNP)- Both Observatories:  2/21/2009 John Kachuba,Robert Dennon, and DaShane Watkins was able to hear a little girls voice in the main telescope observatory building. 2nd building of the Observatory we could hear music being play over a short minute.
